INTRODUCTION
Follow along with Carl’s ULTIMATE golfing goal of playing off scratch. In this series we are going to highlight a lot of on course situations and strategies, helpful for players of all levels.

CARL BERGSTROM: CONTROLLED FADE
In this lesson, we talked through a strategy to guarantee the ball had a fade to best suit a tee shot of a hole with a strong dog leg right. For Carl, having a strategy for a go-to fade, where he could confidently know that the ball wouldn’t draw was very important to putting him into position to score.

CARL BERGSTROM: RISK/REWARD
In this lesson we talk through a strategy for whether or not to go for par 5s in two. As a player with good speed, Carl will frequently be in positions where he has to weigh out his options and make a decision that gives him opportunities for birdies without bring in the potential for bogeys.

CARL BERGSTROM: WEDGE DISTANCES
In this lesson we talked through a game plan for improving Carl’s wedge distance control. He’s struggled to get the ball close enough to the hole from inside of 100 yards, a common concern for many players.

CARL BERGSTROM: GREENSIDE OPTIONS
In this lesson we talk through several strategies for hitting shots from just off the green. Most of the shots are relating to thicker rough in this video, detailing what our options are when the ball is sitting down more vs sitting up.

CARL BERGSTROM: FAIRWAY BUNKERS
In this lesson we spoke on how to deal with fairway bunkers. From our stance to choosing a club for the distance to key swing focus points, this video will give you what you need to ensure you can strike the ball more consistently from these more challenging lies.

CARL BERGSTROM: THE STINGER
In this lesson we tackled a shot that Carl has always wanted to learn… the stinger! This is one of those shots, that can serve as a go-to option when you have those shorter, often tighter par 4s, especially on a windy day!

CARL BERGSTROM: MANAGING SPIN
In this lesson we talked about managing spin with approach wedges. Understand where the flag is on the green, as well as wind conditions can typically influence what club to use to make the shot easier to execute.

CARL BERGSTROM: TIGHT LIES
In this lesson, we talked through strategies for dealing with tight lie shots around the green. Carl learned a system for controlling his trajectory and spin and when to use them depending on the shot he requires.
